How we make money

CreditCardGuru is free to use. We keep it that way through affiliate partnerships: when you click an “Apply now” link and are approved for a card, the issuer or an affiliate network may pay us a commission. This comes at no extra cost to you — you pay the same whether you apply through us or directly with the issuer.

Our ratings are independent

Commissions never influence our ratings, rankings or recommendations. Every card is scored using the same transparent methodology, and those scores are calculated before any commercial relationship is considered. An issuer cannot pay for a better rating, a higher placement, or a “Guru Pick” badge.

Which links are affiliate links

“Apply now” buttons and some in-content links may be affiliate links. Not every card issuer runs an affiliate program — we feature and rate cards on their merits regardless of whether we earn anything from them, so you'll see plenty of cards we aren't compensated for.

Accuracy

Card terms, fees and welcome offers change frequently. We update our data regularly, but the issuer's website is always the authoritative source — please verify the current terms before applying.
